Background

About Jesse Leijten

I have been in several different positions with software development over the last 15 years. I started as technical project manager. During the introduction of the scrum methodology I shifted to scrum master and when the organization grew I became a Team Lead of several Software Development teams. I was involved in off-shoring projects during a three years time period. While performing the role of Team Lead more operational responsibility came. Release Management and Quality Assurance became part of my responsibility as well. In 2021 I got the opportunity to become Business Line Manager for the Development Department within the my organization. The organization was in a transition due to acquiring two other software companies. During my time in software development I have been involved in several interesting projects like: The intrduction of new standards in the Dutch healthcare system (DOT, ZPM, Istandaarden Jeugd en WMO). The introduction of a new technical backend and frontend frameworks, setting up a API gateway and many more.
