About Jesse Leon

Hi there! My name is Jesse :) Growing up with immigrant parents who migrated to the states looking for a better opportunity was tough. I never had the educational support from them due to both parents only completing up to 6th grade. I was not the A student but rather the C student, and managed to push through college and on going. Not a sob story but a reality of my childhood and upbringing, other than that, I had the best childhood filled with outdoor activities and getting into harmless trouble. I am a strong believer that college gives you the communication, public speaking, and critical skills to help you in your respective career. However, when I began searching for jobs after two years of college and four years in the military, I was denied many times by employers because I lacked "experience". This was depressing and demotivating, until my friend/mentor gave me the opportunity to work in an HR department as an administrative assistant. Since then, I've never looked back. Moral of the story, what I've learned over the last four years is that everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves, regardless of experience (unless licensure/certain degrees and or credentials) are needed. My passion is in recruiting in such a way that I strive to match people with great companies that will create long-term careers filled with growth opportunities. I am a joyful, empathetic, and caring person. Sharing knowledge with others and learning is my reason for life. Here to help by identifying and providing employment opportunities for people in our community. Colorado has been my new home for over a year and wouldn't have it any other way!
