Educator. Associate Director of Academic Success at Goshen College. A passion for helping students and student-athletes of diverse backgrounds and perspectives about the skills needed to be a successful student in college and life skills they can use in and after their education. Currently in the Masters of Social Work program through Goshen College & Bluffton University. B.A. of Social Work from Goshen College. Strengths & weaknesses approach. Experienced events Security Officer with a demonstrated skilled history of working in Landscaping, Retail, and Restaurant Management before entering a career in Higher Education. I am currently instructing the Academic Success course to students who are entering their first year of college. This is another course that explores how to shape a life of meaningful engagement and vibrant purpose now and in the future using our understanding of vocation, college readiness, learning strategies, networking, information literacy, leadership, and more. Lead "Teach Elkhart County," a hands-on approach on becoming a skilled and highly effective teacher and learning the habits needed to become a successful college student.
