With over 17 years of experience in the welding industry, I was a passionate and dedicated general supervisor, a leading provider of equipment solutions and services for the construction, forestry, mining, and utility sectors. I have a strong background in quality control, manufacturing operations management, and inspection, and I strive to deliver high-quality results, exceed customer expectations, and ensure safety and compliance standards. I value teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement, and I enjoy collaborating with management and cross-shift colleagues to achieve our common goals and vision.As a general supervisor, I managed the daily activities of the welding department, including delegating responsibilities, recording and organizing training schedules, quoting jobs and developing job scopes, and documenting ongoing projects. I also managed the materials and consumables for upcoming projects, review field level risk assessments, and conduct bi-monthly shop safety inspections. Additionally, I contribute to the development of various quality control forms and processes, and communicate the progress and status of the projects to the relevant stakeholders. Through my skills and experience, I have been able to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and quality of the welding operations, and support the growth and success of of various teams.
