About Jesse Olson

There's nothing more fulfilling to me than finding a creative solution to a problem, being able to improvise, think outside the box and quickly develop a solution are what I aspire to do. My educational career, international software development, and 4 years working in hospitality have all supplied me with an assortment of problems that I have overcome, but I am always looking for a new challenge. Most recently, I have been working as a PEGA developer with Services Australia (SA). Here I aided in the development of their new Entitlement Calculation Engine (ECE), the largest BPM project to have been conducted using PEGA technologies. Starting as a Software Architect, I succeeded in completing several User Stories before being acquired by another team focused on remediation. With this new team I helped extract, merge and analyse data from various platforms so various PEGA rules could easily be identified based on their legislative purpose. In my spare time I am a full stack java developer for Teambit, a Sportswear company. Here I am the sole developer for their Front-end UI used to track player statistics and position in real time.
