About Jesse Parrish

My personal mission is to "lead others to deeper self-understanding, empowered decision-making, and purposeful living." I strive to understand my gifts, discern where to best apply them to add value to others, and help individuals maximize their potential in all aspects of life. My greatest contribution is creating empathetic and psychologically safe environments that foster reflection, deliberate discernment, and wise, intentional actions addressing root causes. I have led teams of experienced professionals, partnered with individuals through coaching, trained and facilitated leadership teams, and consulted with organizations about developing their leadership capabilities. My greatest satisfaction comes in seeing those I teach and lead flourish in their careers and lead deeply satisfying lives. My strengths are built on a blend of unique experiences. With a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Professional Counseling, I served as a licensed therapist for six years, developing a deeply empathetic approach to client interactions. As a guide for personal healing, I helped clients explore their motivations and unlock their potential. These experiences shaped my understanding of personal and professional leadership. I realized that in the counselling office, I was developing personal leadership skills, leading me to shift towards teaching, training, and coaching leadership and teaming skills. Since then, I have dedicated my career to creating experiential leadership and team development programs that foster emotional intelligence, self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-efficacy. At their core, these are life skills taught in a business context. My professional roles have included counsellor, instructor, coach, content creator, manager, team leader, department leader, and member of organizational leadership teams. My certifications include Wiley DiSC assessments, Social Styles assessment, Lead Like Jesus, Executive Coach, and IPSAT Coach. I have received accredited training as an International Coaching Federation Coach, Experiential Certified Instructor for the International Society of Experiential Professionals, and the Association of Talent Development in Change Management. I have delivered thousands of hours of team and leadership development programs across the US and internationally, and hundreds of hours of one-on-one coaching. I have led and developed eight team and leadership curriculums, serving as the primary development offerings in the organizations I served.
