I am a Marketing expert specializing in reaching Hispanic/Urban Latino/Chicano audiences, driving positive brand perception, and authentically connecting through cultural passion points to influence purchase decisions. I am innovative and insightful, with deep roots and strong ties in Urban and Urban Latino culture. My experiences and accomplishments give me a powerful understanding of how to leverage street credibility and cultural capital to grow brand affinity and integrate smoothly into targeted communities. I have designed and implemented large-scale campaigns for major brands, including events, sponsorships, endorsements, social media, PR, and localized tactics. I am an expert communicator and project manager, with unique skills honed during my time as the founder and organizer of the world’s largest and most successful annual convention for Urban Latino music, the Latin Rap Conference (LRC). LRC brought together corporate sponsors, major and independent record labels, artists, producers, television networks, radio stations, media outlets, and the biggest trendsetters and tastemakers in Latino entertainment. This platform put me at crossroads between brands and influencers. LRC received a proclamation from Mayor Michael Bloomberg for the incredible success of our events and community relations. I have also worked in radio at XMOR in San Diego (98.9FM), as an on-air personality hosting the city's #1 morning show. These experiences helped make me an expert in many aspects of the music and entertainment industry and in capturing the attention of diverse audiences. Furthermore, I am a Music Producer/Songwriter with over 300 placements in TV and Film, including Sony Pictures, Paramount, CBS, Showtime, MTV, VH1, TBS, TNT, truTV, FX, NIKE, Somethings Gotta Give, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, Shameless, Mayans MC, Impractical Jokers, Dancing With The Stars, Better Call Saul, Basketball Wives, The Mentalist, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Animal Kingdom. I am still very active in music and entertainment, interacting with brands and companies to keep an ear to the street for trends and marketing-related forecasts.
