About Jesse Raymond

I am a results-driven leader with six years of experience in a mix of process engineering and front line leadership. I spent five years in the fast-paced mineral processing industry with focus on process improvements and upset troubleshooting. In these roles I developed new procedures based on conversations with front-line employees and developed tools that greatly improved the communication between operations and the corporate planning groups. This allowed for open dialog around the needs of the site and the corporation as a whole allowing for great improvements to the operations planning and customer satisfaction on both sides. Since then I have transitioned into the aviation industry as a front line supervisor for plant operations. Led a 15-person team through start-up and ramp-up to full production in a Process Safety Management environment. Gained new insights into Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing which led to the implementation of new procedures and tools for the crew to utilize to minimize defects as well as improve housekeeping and plant organization. I find the most joy in utilizing my engineering background and the technical knowledge I have, and continue to acquire, to help the front line employees understand the critical role they play in achieving operating goals.
