Hi, I’m Jesse, Over the past 8 years, I've held many positions within the fashion industry, starting on the corporate side at Gap Inc then transitioning to small business co-ownership at Maison DNA, a fashion and art boutique specializing in curated vintage, designer and one of kind sustainable fashions. The 4 years I spent at Maison DNA afforded me invaluable experience in learning, developing and implementing a wide array of creative skills including: Fashion Styling, Creative direction, Interior decorating, Visual merchandising, Product photography, Graphic design, Photo editing and retouching, Merchandise acquisition, Product development, Social media content creation, Event planning, Networking, Collaborating and more. While at Mason DNA, assisting customers organically led to opportunities for freelance part-time fashion styling. I collaborated with local fashion photographers, and dressed artists, musicians and models resulting in working on several on-location photoshoots, being published in magazine editorials, and being credited in music videos. Due to ever the changing landscape of the physical retail market coupled with uncertain times, it was time to rethink and adapt and Maison DNA from brick and mortar and transition to online e-commerce via Instagram and Poshmark in 2018. In 2022 I hope to further foster and apply my creative talents in collaboration within companies or teams that value growth and recognize the positive impact that sustainable fashion, art, beauty and design have on both a individual and global basis.
