About Jesse Thomas Wilson

At the foundation of every organization is strong financial planning and analysis, which is where I come in. For more than 20 years, I have directed FP & A functions, accounting processes, revenue recognition, and financial strategy for diverse organizations. These roles have ranged from building financial processes from the ground up for startup companies to collaborating cross-functionally with executives within global organizations, primarily in the media and entertainment field. What makes me unique is that I am highly skilled at translating financial data into action and strategy, communicating with teams such as marketing, sales, IT, HR, and operations to drive organizations forward. By providing measurable goals and forecasts, I not only contribute to a dynamic workplace culture, but I also build a base for sustainable, yet realistic growth. I am also highly technically proficient in a wide range of applications, leading rollouts and implementations in Oracle, RevPro, SAP, and ERP. I also cultivated relationships with sales teams to monitor data and performance metrics in Salesforce. Finally, I am a passionate leader who truly enjoys guiding strategy – even beyond the workplace. In 2013, I helped found a cocktail bar in Manhattan, designing financial metrics, analyzing results, and creating long-term protocols. Five years later, the bar is still successful in an incredibly challenging market, and I know this is a testament to my skills, drive for success, and ability to innovate.
