About Jesse Williams

I am a hardworking, motivated individual who loves a challenge. Prior to my schooling, I was employed in the healthcare industry, and I have been in the same industry for the past twelve years. Throughout my time in the healthcare industry, I developed broad range of skills. I have held multiple positions, in various scenarios throughout my healthcare career. The last two employers I worked for; I held two different types of managerial positions. First, I held the position as a team leader, and I handle the day-to-day operations and the implementing of the policy and procedures of my facility. Second, I held the position as Lead Tech, and I oversaw the physiological studies being performed by the other technicians. From these two managerial positions, I have developed exceptional listening and communication skills either verbally or in writing. Also, I have learned to stay calm under high-pressure situations requiring quick decision making. My current internship is with Zebco Brands, and I have worked with them since September 2015. Majority of my work is dedicated to quality control and reliability. Throughout my internship, I have performed capability studies to improve the strength of a rod design, performed pareto analysis of customer service data to learn of new possible projects, performed Gage R&R studies to compare two test lab facilities, performed analysis of products to determine issues with the current design, performed tolerance stack-up of current reel design to determine possible clearance issues, and helped develop new test methods to further improve products. These experiences have developed abilities to perform critical analysis of products and procedures to further improve upon their design. My duties have grown to a more active role in the development and improvement of product designs, and I work directly with suppliers for possible solutions to issues with products.
