As a senior business administration and management major at James Madison University, I am passionate about learning and applying the principles and practices of effective leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. I have completed multiple courses and projects on topics such as organizational behavior, strategic management, business ethics, and entrepreneurship, earning a cumulative GPA of 3.8. For the past seven months, I have been working as a training supervisor at Capitol Sheds, a small business in Virginia that sells and installs sheds, gazebos, and garages. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing the merger of two shed companies, Great Outdoors and Capitol Sheds, which will be operating under the Capitol Sheds name. I coordinate and facilitate the training of the sales and installation staff, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition and integration of the two teams. I also provide support to customers, perform basic data entry tasks, and handle payment and delivery of products. Through this experience, I have developed and demonstrated my skills in customer relationship management (CRM), communication, retail sales, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). I am also industry certified in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and proficient in Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets. I am eager to expand my knowledge and skills in the business field, and to explore new opportunities and challenges that will help me grow as a professional and as a person.
