About Jessica Bone

Howdy! I'm Candr Media Group's Senior Audience Development Manager. I work with the talented teams of Trusted Reviews, The Ambient, Wareable, Go Sweat Go, and Recombu to drive editorial growth across the board. I moved into this role after managing PCGamesN, Custom PC, and PCGameBenchmark's audience development as Group Editor at Network N Media. In the one and a half years in this role, I helped return PCGamesN to growth and watched as it continually broke its own page view records. Before that, I spent three years at the helm of The Loadout, a console gaming and esports-focused website that I helped launch back in 2019. During my time there, I grew the site from zero to more than nine million monthly users, while managing a team of team of seven staff and a pool of freelancers. Prior to that, I worked in Network N's agency - now known as Project N - as the Account Manager for OMEN by HP and GAME. I worked my way up to managing those accounts after working on them as a Staff Writer for a year. Although the games and tech industry has been my home for the last six years, I got my start in media thanks to Newsquest. After getting my Diploma in Journalism from the NCTJ, I moved to Wiltshire to cover everything from potholes to serious court cases. I spent three years at the Wiltshire Times and Wiltshire Gazette & Herald honing my craft - eventually gaining my National Qualification in Journalism and a promotion to Senior Reporter - while simultaneously freelancing for some of the biggest gaming websites in the world.
