About Jessica Davila

I've been teaching immigrant students a new language and helping them acclimate to American culture for six years and have had such a rewarding experience watching them go on to success in life beyond school. Google Suite and Microsoft Office have been very prevalent in my day to day work activity as I had to create all my materials and presentations to meet the various needs of my students in different settings such as in-person, hybrid, and remote. I have also taken on other leadership roles during my tenure in the district such as Department Team Leader, Parent/District/Community Liaison, Head Curriculum Writer, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Committee Member, Mentoring, and I have even coached different school athletics teams. I am also an Ecuadorian citizen and have had to use my Spanish speaking/writing skills to communicate with all of the Freehold Borough community with the goal to keep the families informed and engaged in a variety of ways such as bilingual newsletters and after school events. I am looking to hang up my teaching hat and head into a new venture where I can use my leadership, presentational, and creative skills in a different setting in which I can thrive. I am a hard worker and am always passionate and confident about everything I do.
