About Jessica de Groot

As a dedicated Development and Outreach Officer, I am passionate about supporting the growth and development of Alberta’s post-secondary institutions, research programs, and community projects. With a focus on donor relations, fundraising and project management, I work to ensure the Foundation’s impact is felt through strategic stewardship and collaborative partnerships. My role involves managing and promoting the Foundation’s annual grant programs, overseeing endowed fund activities, managing annual scholarship adjudication and developing initiatives to recognize and engage our donors and stakeholders. Additionally, I provide support to the Hesje CPA Knowledge Centre, assisting with program development, podcast development and other outreach activities. By leveraging my expertise in program management, communication, and relationship-building, I help ensure the Foundation continues to drive impactful initiatives that align with the values of CPA Alberta. From supporting special projects to preparing strategic materials for the Board, I am always focused on advancing our goals and enhancing the Foundation’s engagement with key partners and stakeholders.
