I’m passionate about my work as a human resource professional in helping match the right people to the right roles in an organisation, and developing their careers. I currently work as an HR Specialist (Recruitment & Staffing) at Kindred Credit Union. I have experience in the full recruitment process, including creating job advertisements, sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking, contract negotiations, pre-employment compliance and inducting new hires. My prior recruiting experience included working internationally in various high-paced environments, including education, disability support, healthcare, and finance. Prior to this, I was a primary school teacher. My diverse experiences teaching in South Korea, Turkey, Canada, England and Australia shaped me into the passionate education advocate I am today. Throughout my years of teaching in different cultures and settings, I learnt valuable skills in communication, organization and leadership.
