About Jessica Diel

I am currently a stay-at-home Mother/Homemaker. I am also involved in Child Advocacy & Parent Leadership both on a state/national level. Since becoming a Parent Leader, it has been my #1 passion next to my family. I love being able to give incite & "a-ha" moments to professionals to help them better work to strengthening families through use of the Protective Factors Framework. I have previously been an Administrative Assistant and Home Visitor using the Parents As Teachers model but my work as a Parent Leader has been the most rewarding for me. I am married. My husband Joel & I were married in 2008. We had our baby boy, Nikolai, on June 23, 2009. We had our angel, Cynthia, on February 10, 2011. They're a handful & monsters at times but I wouldn't trade them for anything else in the world. They definitely keep me busy outside of work. Joel is the greatest guy ever. Since I've met him, he's been my rock. Through good times and the bad times, he never falters. He's a constant in my life who's always there to catch me when I fall. He's a very caring, supportive, compassionate, kind, generous, comical guy who just has the best personality all around. I've always been told that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I'm a fighter, a survivor, and a woman with enough backbone and resilience to overcome any heartache, any disappointment, and any obstacle, no matter how great. I'm a very kind & gentle person. I'm probably one of the biggest sweethearts you'll ever meet. I don't look like a supermodel but I believe that my personality & big heart definitely make up for it and they make me the one of the most beautiful women in the world.
