About Jessica Doane

LSCSW, LCSW with experience working with ages ranging from 6-70, in addition to families and groups in a variety of settings including Residential Treatment, Juvenile Corrections, Outpatient Mental Health (CMHC), Schools, and Psychiatric Hospitals. Excellent clinical skills including ability to engage and assess, provide innovative therapeutic treatments, accurately diagnose using DSM-5, and quickly develop rapport with clients. Recognized by colleagues for advocating for populations that have less accessibility to services and bringing new ideas and solutions to the team.Currently working as a private practice clinical therapist providing therapy services to individuals and couples, with specialties in anxiety, depression, body neutrality, LGBTQ, and relationships of all styles. Jessica is also an Adjunct Professor for the School of Social Welfare at KU and has taught the following courses: Gender and Sexuality Diversity, SW with Womxn and Femmes, and Trauma Related Care. Lastly, Jessica is also the Community Engagement Director at Resolve Counseling and wellness working to “reimagine mental health to reduce barriers and improve care,”. In this role, Jessica is responsible for Education, Business Development, and Community Give Back. Jessica specializes in working with members of the LGBTQ community offering competent and inclusive care, she has dedicated much of her career to this population. Her mission is to create safe spaces and services while empowering folx to find and honor their own voice through healing.
