About Jessica Droujko

Hi, I’m Jessica ‍ I’m a mechanical engineer and hydrologist passionate about helping communities adapt to a rapidly changing water cycle. My work sits at the intersection of hydrology, climate, and technology. At Riverkin, I serve as CEO and Co-Founder. We develop smart, field-ready sensors that collect real-time data on turbidity, fine sediments, and water levels. Combined with our platform, this helps clients make faster, better-informed decisions about water risk, compliance, and ecosystem health. From flood-prone Swiss rivers to remote regions in South America, I’ve led deployments that provide real data where it was previously missing. I love working in the field (as you can see in my cover photo ), translating complex environmental problems into robust, low-power, scalable hardware systems. My background includes a PhD in Hydrology & Water Resources Management and several scientific publications on sediment transport, hydrology, and climate resilience. I believe that better data leads to better outcomes for both people and nature. Always open to collaboration across research, government, and industry. Let’s talk if you’re working on water, climate, or sensing technology.
