About Jessica Lari

I am completing my certification, and I am on my way to becoming a National Certified Medical Assistant. This year, my experience as a student at IOT has taught me so much. I already knew that I was determined and eager to learn, I have always considered myself to be a compassionate person, a patient person, someone who has been described by my peers as a nurturer. Knowing these things about myself has been my main drive for wanting to get into the medical field so that i can use these wonderful traits to help care for people. Throughout completing the MA program i have learned and improved on many important traits and skills, for example i have drastically improved my communication skills by learning to pay attention to non verbal signs. I have advanced my leadership skills by taking initiative, listening effectively and problem solving with creativity and ingenuity. I have also maintained a 4.0 grade point average by staying focused on my work, prioritizing school and remaining reliable by being punctual. Every single day is another chance to learn, to grow my skills and strengths and to help others. I am excited to start my career in the medical field.
