About Jessica McClay

My objective of re-entering the workforce comes after 4 years of being a stay-at-home parent/home maker. Before my time at home, I was an enthusiastic member of a wholesale distributor’s team. I greatly enjoyed traveling all over Maryland and Virginia, and the knowledge gained about all of my clients’ various cultural backgrounds. Similar to the experience in my cultural diversity studies at George Mason University. As satisfying as that career was, I had to resign from my position as a Sales Rep/Account Manager due to complications while pregnant, and then chose to raise my son in his early years before again becoming gainfully employed. As thankful as I am for the experience and the opportunity to work with such a wonderful company and its team, and the ability to engage with a wide variety of customers, I now am looking to branch more into a position that allows me stationary employment. As a parent, a position where I may work mostly at one location, with minimal travel, while being closer to my child is most ideal.
