About Jessica Roffe

Starting a career can feel very overwhelming—especially when you're unsure where to begin. That’s where I come in. As a Certified Career Services Provider and experienced Higher Ed Administrator, I specialize in helping college students and recent grads confidently navigate the beginning stages of their career journeys. I work closely with them to discover their unique traits, build standout personal brands, and land opportunities that are a good fit. I’m the Founder of Career Beginnings LLC, where I offer personalized, one-on-one coaching to give students the competitive edge needed in today’s job market. I launched this business in 2024, a decade into working at the University of Maryland, where my focus has been on helping students gain real-world experience through experiential learning. I am the assistant director of the QUEST Honors Program and teach courses on major and career exploration, networking, and business development. From day one on campus, I encourage students to be thoughtful and intentional about their academic and career paths. Together, we explore majors, clubs and organizations, internships, and career options based on what makes them unique—so they can feel confident, prepared, and excited for what’s ahead.
