Jessica Woken is a homesteader, SAHM, and sideline author who is currently starting up a home goods & woodcrafts business in Tehachapi, California. She was previously the owner and founder of Mountain Owl Ink, LLC (MOI), a private writing services company opened in April 2013 and closed in December 2019 to serve the general small business community and private sector. Jessica graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a B.A. in Creative Writing with an emphasis in Fiction in Winter 2007. Before graduating she wrote, illustrated, and self-published "Appaloosa Pete and the Band of Wily Wolves", a full-color picture book about a horsey hero who saves his farm friends from a pack of sneaky wolves. Before opening MOI, Jessica's many and variegated jobs provided her with the experience she needed to create writing which appeals to diverse markets and peoples.
