About Jessica Walker

After college, I applied to a shooting range because a former colleague told me, “Girls don’t work at places like that.” Not only did I get the job, I grew it from a simple data entry position to a multi-faceted assistant-to-the-director role. I learned to shoot so I could connect with my coworkers. I even starred in one of our marketing videos! Since then, I have not stopped challenging myself. I spent 5 years working in the accounting and billing world, where I enjoyed simplifying processes and training my colleagues via video and written process documentation. After being a tester during a Salesforce implementation, my curiosity was piqued in a new direction. I began completing Trailhead modules and learning everything I could about Salesforce. In April 2023, I passed the Salesforce Administrator exam! I have since transitioned to a Junior Salesforce Administrator role at Community Brands. I primarily focus on billing-related tickets. I love being able to support my billing colleagues in a new capacity while building successful admin habits and learning about Salesforce CPQ. Aside from Salesforce, most of my hobbies are off-screen. I enjoy reading, writing letters, bowling, and exploring the many hidden gems of Richmond.
