About Me: Hi, I’m Jesson Jose, a Social entrepreneur, Mentor, and Sports Coach with 19+ years of experience in training, mentoring, and community development. I believe that sports have the power to change lives, and that’s why I founded Sports Mentoring Infusion (SMI). My Mission: At SMI, we use sports to empower children from Red Light Areas, Government Shelter Homes, and Juvenile Observation Homes. Many of these children face poverty, addiction, abuse, and lack of opportunities. We provide them with life skills, education, and character-building programs through sports. children impacted 40+ volunteers and mentors working in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane & beyond Programs in schools, colleges, and communities Certified life skills and sports psychology training for youth Why Sports? Sports teach discipline, teamwork, respect, and confidence—qualities that help children make better life choices. We also run Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness programs through sports, helping young boys learn to respect and value women in their communities. Real Stories, Real Impact: Before SMI, I was lost in bad habits. Now, I play football, mentor others, and focus on my studies. – A 16-year-old participant SMI’s program changed my son's life.
