Jesus Cisneros is a visionary entrepreneur with a strong track record in the tech industry, known for his ability to transform innovative ideas into successful projects. At the age of 21, he co-founded Quiubas, a pioneering company in SMS messaging services and mobile infrastructure from 2007 until its successful exit in 2020, becoming the first Mexican, specifically Leon-based, company to be acquired by Twilio, one of the Top 10 Big Tech companies globally. Jesus played a key role in the company's evolution from a social network to a leading SMS connectivity provider in Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region. As Chief Operating Officer of Quiubas, he led the commercial strategy, managing relationships with major clients and navigating the complex legal, financial, and technological challenges of the technology and telecommunications market. His focus was on expanding into key markets such as Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, India, and Malaysia, positioning Quiubas as an industry leader and achieving control of 90% of mobile messaging traffic in 54 countries. Currently, Jesus is at the helm of Saptiva AI, a company dedicated to providing tailored generative artificial intelligence solutions for the Latin American region. With Saptiva, he is driving the creation of an AI ecosystem in the region under the premise of providing resources that enable companies of all sizes to develop technology using GenAI without relying on foreign players. At this moment, Saptiva is the only company providing GPU computing resources in Latin America. In addition to creating the first language model (LLM) specifically developed for the region, Saptiva uses open-source models tailored to the particularities of the local market, especially in sectors such as finance.
