About Jesus Echeverria

When working a job during your youth, many seem to overlook the many skills you can acquire and improve. While working at Sam’s Club I learned many things which include time management, organizational skills, working with a team, mentor newer co-workers, etc. While working at Sam’s club practically full-time, I was also a full-time student at Montclair State University. Being able to do both at a proficient level taught me time management. At work, I would constantly help clients and open up new memberships and credit cards. This made me be organized due to the volume of clients I would have at a time. And being able to teach all of the skills I had amassed thus far to newer co-workers was always a joy. During my time at Montclair State, I learned to work with a team due to all of the projects I had to do. The projects varied from class to class. For example, in project management my team created a stakeholder analysis, activity planning and WBS as well as a project schedule. Being able to work hand and hand with my classmates was an enjoyable experience and we did an excellent job at it.
