About Jesus Ojeda

Currently I am a Senior Software Developer at AXYZ | Chaos. Previous experiences have included being a Researcher at Universitat de Lleida, working on constraint programming and machine learning algorithms and their applications, working on medical imaging in real-time and virtual reality applications at Galgo Medical and video-analysis software for football (soccer) training at Mediapro, both as a senior software engineer and research engineer. Previously I received the Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and the Master’s Degree on Open Source from the Universitat de Lleida in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Then I entered the MOVING research group as a member, where I finished my PhD in Computer Science at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in May 2013. I focused on the simulation and visualization of fluids in real-time, using the Lattice Boltzmann Method in CUDA and OpenGL with full real-time visual effects. Recently, and related to my latest research activities on combinatorial optimization and artificial intelligence, I completed a Master's degree on Supply Chain Management. My knowledge is not restricted to that research or even just Computer Graphics or Artificial Intelligence, as I am always looking for more, and surely you will find me reading new articles and books on whatever new technologies arise. My research interests range from physically-based animation and rendering to GPU programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence and optimization, as well as their broad application to the real world, like in healthcare, agriculture and climate, engineering or logistics.
