About Jesus Parada

In 1993 Jesús Parada joins a cartoon animation intensive course in Barcelona. One year later he begins working at Studio Camara, a small animation services studio, where he works in different productions, such as The Triplets, Les Magilletres, Captain Star, Sooty, Meme & Mr.Bobo, Fantomcat, The Enchanted Series, Cuttlas, Slurps, Xavarin, Dr. Disaster, Goomer. among many others. Then, with some experience as character animator, he joins the Twipsy TV series animation team in Estudio Mariscal, where he also participates in the animations for the show Colors, La historia de los Colores, and the music video La Negra Tomasa of Compay Segundo. Shortly after, he starts working in Cromosoma as animator in Miniman TV series production. In Cromosoma he also collaborates in different productions between and 2004, like Juanito Jones, The Triplets and Gaudí and Motel Spaghetti, and he makes also all the animations for a Generalitat de Catalunya ocupational risk prevention campaing. After, as Animation Director he works in episodes 68 to 104 of The Triplets TV series and the TV pilots Emi & Max and The Baby Triplets. After this step, he contributes to various independent production companies, as Tomavistas, Red Mouse Factory and BcnConnection. Then, in 2005, again in Cromosoma, he works in The Baby Triplets series as 2D Digital Animator with Toon Boom Harmony. In 2009 he returns to the cartoon animation industry participating in the feature films Chico & Rita and Little Big Panda, as part of the Acció animators team, in Cerdanyola. In 2012 he works again in Cromosoma as 2D Digital Animator in The Mint Fairy series. Currently he operates his cartoon animation activity as an independent professional from his own studio.
