About Jesus Ramos

Graduated in 2012 with my BA in Psychology. I commissioned as a 2ndLt in the United States Marine Corps in August of 2012 and began working as a recruiters assistant. In May of 2014 I completed the 6 month long Basic Officers Course and moved on to my Military Occupational School. After completed the Air Defense Officers course I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan where I took charge of the Ie Shima Training Facility. After my time as the Officer In Charge of the Ie Island Training Facility I began working as an Air Defense Control Officer. After 2+ years in Japan I was moved to Yuma, Arizona where I now work as the Officer in Charge of the Operations Section with upwards of 65 Marines under me. I will be ending my active service in April 2018 as a Captain and I will be looking to continue my education in educational psychology and desire to work with young adults as a school psychologist. My time in the Military has given me unparalleled leadership experience and has pushed me to grow in many ways-I have 5 years of management experience -I have managed over worth of military equipment-I have managed 4 major construction projects for the military -I have 4 years experience with planning, coordinating, and executing events with different agencies to include local elected Japanese officials, other military branches, and civilian contractors.
