About Jhon Tanacio

I am a graduate of Marketing Management with Master in Business Administration. I have 12 years of working experience including 6 years as a school administrator in one of the country's premiere IT school, Informatics Philippines. I have strong background in curriculum development using the context of the 21st century learning and information and communications technology. I have expertise in identifying education technologies that are appropriate to various types of learners both in senior high school and the technical vocational programs. I am heavily engage in collaboration with different sectors in the education particularly in the development of regional education technology integration in both the face to face and online conduct of training. I have pioneered 3 level 5 diploma programs of TESDA for Informatics Baguio-such as 3-year diploma in IT, Computer Science and Information System. I am also very much engage in the process of creating to communicating the value of the respective programs to various sectors and stakeholders. Technically, I am adept in graphics and content writing. Knowledgeable in social media management, Canva and Photoshop design tools and a certified Microsoft Office Specialist. One of the things that I really want to advocate in the field of training and education is the acceleration of micro-learning in the Philippines particularly in the field of information and communication technology. How this learning become the new approach in the democratized economy, shorter period of implementation yet sustainable and relevant in the digital revolution. The immediate job is to design the program, identify the tools and platform/s for its implementation.
