About Jia Li
I just completed my Ph.D. study in 2023. My research area is related to human skeletal muscle, mitochondrial biogenesis, inflammation and hypoxia training. I published nine papers so far, participated in three international academic conferences and an Australian Physiology conference with abstract and poster gallery; and engaged in the other three programs except her Ph.D. program. I used to work as a research assistant in 2018, to do muscle sample collection and analysis (e.g, mitochondrial respiration) for the project “Active AMP Endurance Exercise Trial”. I got an offer from the College of Health and Biomedicine at Victoria University from 2020 to 2022 to teach lab work for the course “Exercise is Medicine” as well as lab work teaching for the course “Human genetic” in 2021. Besides, I co-supervised two honours students and two project students to do experiments including western blots, RNA extraction and real-time PCR in the biochemistry laboratory in 2021.
