I'm Jia Ren, an accounts assistant who have worked 24 years in a multinational company specialised in fixed assets, inventory, order management, bank and General Ledger. However, I'm planning to use my expertise in the area of analysis and strategies in the future.Strength- Using Microsoft Excel with formulas and functions to enhance and simplified the work in the report- Able to track and correct the transactions for Fixed Assets, Inventory, Order Management and General Ledger.Achievements- Reducing the time taken to key-in the journals of more than 10k lines from 1 day to 1 hour by using Excel functions and later upload it into Oracle GL speeding up the time to close the month-end closing- Improve accuracy and time take to do the month-end closing timetable by using excel formula from 6 hours to 20 minutes- Able to automate and simplified the process of updating Fixed Asset items from 30 minutes to 3 minutes per transaction, hence reducing the time and clearing the backlog of the items sitting inside the Fixed Assets Clearing Account- Build a report to capture all the details of the sales order to ensure the revenue, cost of good sold, revenue and cost account hitting the correct accounting code and product code saving the time to go into the systems to check the transaction one by one. Subsequently, the report was used as a standard report for other OPCOs- Successfully setup, migrate and perform full testing for the legacy systems of Inventory, Order Management, Fixed Assets and General Ledger to Oracle Systems and ensure it complied to year compliance. With these, we are able to improve the automation of the work process and improve the month-end closing time taken from 10 workdays to 2 workdays and able to help the management consistently met the dateline to report the monthly results to the headquarter in Singapore- Contribution in the Orange Project in outsourcing the Fixed Assets and Inventory systems to Accenture with complete knowledge transfer and support for the Accenture Philippines teams to enable them to fully takeover the job efficiently and effectively- Successfully participate in the implementation of ISO related to information security management systems for finance department.
