About Jiayin Chen

Jiayin Chen is a writer, curator, and entrepreneur working at the intersection of art and technology. With a strong track record in digital art and entrepreneurship, she has written extensively about digital art and the art market for global publications.Her experience spans both museums and art fairs, collaborating with artists and designers across disciplines—from traditional media to moving image and immersive technologies. She has also advised corporate clients on optimizing omni-channel experiences and developing culturally bespoke campaigns.As a curator, Jiayin has showcased artists in New York, Miami, Taipei, Busan, Beijing, and Berlin. She was the winner of the Digital Art Open Call by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in 2015 and curated the group exhibition The Real Thing.She is the co-founder of SCREEN, a bilingual online magazine dedicated to art and technology. SCREEN has been featured internationally and has collaborated with major art institutions, including Art021, Asia Contemporary Art Week, and Art Taipei, as well as leading galleries and foundations. In 2016, SCREEN was a finalist for the NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) Art Business Incubator.Jiayin’s op-eds and essays have been published in Financial Times China, Artnet News, Initium Media, The Art Newspaper China, Taipei Biennial, Artist Magazine, Artco, The Art Trade Journal, and more. She has also been featured in interviews highlighting her work and achievements.Beyond her writing and curatorial practice, Jiayin has lectured at CUNY (The City University of New York), Shih Hsin University, and National Taiwan University of Arts. She has also moderated panels and spoken at NFT NYC, MUC NFT Conference, NFT Paris, Tezos Foundation, and the International Symposium on World Migration Movements, among others.
