About Jill Brimacombe

With 18 years of work experience in project management, contract management, and construction, I am a Deputy Chief Project Officer at Vancouver Coastal Health, leading the development of the new Paul Myers Tower, a $325 M acute care facility on the Lions Gate Hospital campus. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for complex healthcare projects, and I have a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on biomechanics. I am a Professional Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional, and I value collaboration, integrity, and excellence in my work. I am responsible for managing the design, construction, commissioning, and occupancy of the state-of-the-art facility, which includes eight operating rooms and 108 patient beds. I oversee the contractual and technical aspects of the project, and I liaise with the project partners, contractor, stakeholders, and consultants. I also ensure that the project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance, and that it aligns with the strategic vision and operational needs of Vancouver Coastal Health. I leverage my skills in project and contract management to deliver a successful project that will enhance the healthcare services and outcomes for the community.
