About Jill Covitz

Originally from New York, Jill has worked for Sony Music, the Sundance Film Festival and Martha Stewart’s television program Living. Jill’s broad base of experience in production, marketing and publicity led her to focus on events when she moved to Australia in 2003. As the Senior Event Manager for Cambridge Events Jill was responsible for launches and premieres, corporate meetings and retreats, red carpet affairs, gala dinners, cocktail parties and fundraisers. Her passion for events has taken her to six Olympics as a Logistic/Support Services Manager in Atlanta, Sydney, Salt Lake City and Beijing, as the co-Broadcast Venue Manager for Beach Volleyball at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and as the Corporate Hospitality Manager for FOXTEL in Vancouver and the Co-Director of their Corporate Hospitality Program in London. An Australian citizen since 2010, Jill has managed events for clients such as Macquarie Bank, Tourism NSW/Oprah, Sony Music, the National Rugby League, FOXTEL and News Limited. Jill’s extensive experience and success in planning and executing events, of all sizes in both Australia and overseas, led her to create The Corporate Method, now called TCM Events, in 2011. In 2017, Jill and a like-minded colleague (Luke Cook) met through CUB, the private business club, and decided to join forces in starting up FUNLOCKA.
