About Jill Forkner
Growing up in rural Indiana, I always knew I wanted to be a part of the agriculture industry. Through my involvement in the industry during high school, I found my passion was for agronomy. Working with my hands, being outside, and collaborating with growers and other passionate agriculturalists are some of my favorite aspects of agronomy. I graduated from Purdue University in August 2022 with a Bachelor's of Science in Agronomy: Crop & Soil Management. Now serving southwest Idaho as a Large Seed Vegetable (LSV) Seed Production agronomist, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced growers to produce quality sweet corn, pea, and garden bean seed. I am excited to be pursuing my Master's of Business Administration online through Eastern Oregon University while working full time! I am looking forward to seeing how this continued education will allow me to support my team and my growers in a better way.
