About Jill Gerardi

After spending most of my adult life in the soil, designing gardens, growing my own apothecary, and advocating for pollinators, I decided to enroll in a Permaculture Design Certification program and love the way it has opened my eyes. I will never be the same. As a small business owner, I have worn all the business hats but my favorite things to do are set goals and reverse engineer into the processes to get there, and be in the dirt growing and interacting with plants. In addition to designing, I also educate beginning gardeners on building healthy soil, seed starting, designing and installing drip irrigation, propagating, garden maintenance, succession planning, fruit tree guilds, and encourage un-lawning all while saving money and the planet. In my spare time, I love to hike, cycle, take my dog, Luna Grey, on long walks, and volunteer on sustainability and horticultural community service projects such as the newly announced meadow installation in Falls Park, downtown Greenville. If you would like to grab a coffee or tea and talk plants, please reach out.
