I am currently working as a Product Owner across Social Care and Education platforms, building on a long background in NHS and healthcare digital services to deliver user-centred, outcomes-focused public sector products.I’m an experienced Product Owner passionate about helping teams deliver digital solutions that improve services and outcomes for people and communities. I thrive in complex environments, bringing clarity, collaboration, and a steady focus on delivering real value. Product Owner for System C progressing from Scrum Master after joining them as a Product SME. In my previous role, I worked with 3 teams to try and maximise a product's value by managing and optimising the product backlog. I work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to understand what problems our customers face. As Scrum Master I facilitated for three development teams but my role primarily was as a coach, motivator and leader of Agile teams. My role was to educate the teams on Agile processes and help team members follow Scrum practices. Helping to establish a high-performing team dynamic, a continuous flow, and an exponential improvement in processes. I also played a pivotal role and was responsible for the progressive development of the Scrum teams. This is after completing 30 years within the NHS. I have experience in various roles within the NHS, and my most recent role was as a System Support Officer in the Digital Systems Team. I have also had roles such as Optimisation specialist within Primary care, Divisional Administrator/Rota Manager, EPR migration officer, Application Support, IT training and System Administrator and Contracts Assistant.My strengths are: strong organisational skills; self motivated, highly flexible and adaptable to change as well as being flexible in my approach towards challenges that arise. I am an excellent communicator who can communicate confidently at all levels.I’m always interested in connecting with other product leaders and exploring ways to deliver meaningful digital change.
