About Jill Jones

I enjoy a variety of challenges: it’s good to have regular tasks as well as quick deadlines to meet. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and have an eye for detail – I can anticipate potential pitfalls in what I produce and take steps to prevent them. I prefer to do things right the first time. Communication is my strongest skill, going all the way back to my first college degree. I have discovered over the years that I have a knack for not only communicating with others (which means that a message has been both sent and received as intended) but also the ability to facilitate communication between others. I can zero in on situations where communication is not taking place accurately – in other words, where a message is either not being conveyed clearly or is not being understood – and do something to correct or clarify. I am also able to provide what I think of as translation services between those who are very technical and those who are not. I can understand and convey information that each party needs and comprehends. I consider every interaction I have with another person as an opportunity for customer service. There are needs and expectations to be understood and met in even the simplest of contacts, and if I have exhausted my resources and absolutely can’t find a way to meet a customer’s needs, I will do everything I can to find the next best solution, and work to make it a satisfying experience for them.
