About Jill King

As an English Language Fellow, I'm so grateful to continue growing and contributing as an international educator in the Mekong Delta region. Our latest collaborations and outreach projects have included: teacher training workshops on integrating authentic multimodal texts, a Tet Holiday storytelling workshop for high school students and teacher interns, and a student-teacher field trip to the American Center in Saigon for a super exciting Women's History event.In the final phase of my ELFellow renewal project cycle, I'll facilitate the 4th workshop in a series for selected students at Thong Linh High School, culminating in small group public speaking projects on environmental issues. We'll also complete workshops for pre-service and in-service teachers at Dong Thap University, with a final session focused on using AI and social media for language learners. The most exciting news involves an upcoming mini-youth conference in Saigon co-planned with 40 university students, emphasizing higher education opportunities and environmental awareness / Eco-PBL. I'm also thrilled to be part of an ACCESS Summit in Cambodia taking place in late May, which is in the planning phase.
