About Jill McGee

I am successfully transmitting 7 payrolls paying almost national employees bi-weekly. This is a big increase from the 2 payrolls and about 500 employees that I started with. I have experience with doing the benefit billing (though not since my workload increased). I help employees figure out their PTO and answer payroll questions in addition to the data entry, reviewing, auditing and sending post payroll benefit vendor files. I’m very familiar with deadlines and multitasking.What I’m looking for is to step back from payroll with its complicated multi-state rules, regulations & taxes and find a better fit for work/life balance, as it has been lacking.If familiar with Everything DISC assessments, my profile lands in the “C” section. My strengths include: attention to detail or ensuring accuracy, in-depth analysis, emphasizing precision and ensuring quality. I value stability and getting things right. My weaknesses include: taking criticism or feedback personally though I’m trying to work on it, sometimes valuing working independently a bit too much because I’m introverted, and figuring out payroll taxes manually are a weakness for me!I love to laugh and in my spare time I read, watch movies or do fun things with my son. We have 2 dogs and foster 2 guinea pigs. I’ve been an animal lover since birth.
