About Jill Pohlman

As a marketing major at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, I am passionate about creating and managing content that engages and attracts customers. I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing in December of 2023.In addition to my studies, I have gained hands-on experience as a social media strategist and a waitress at George's Local Brew. There, I have applied my social media skills to monitor and optimize the online presence of the business, using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. I have also earned two Hootsuite certifications, which demonstrate my proficiency in social media strategy and marketing. As a waitress, I have developed strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, working with a diverse and fast-paced clientele. I am always eager to learn new skills, improve my performance, and contribute to the success of the team and the organization.I am a professional, organized, and hard-working individual. I have a proven ability to problem solve and uphold high standards of service. I am very eager to learn and discover new ideas while implementing current skills into work.
