I've had the privilege of working in a dynamic, challenging, and fascinating department at United Bankers' Bank. There's never a dull moment when you're working in the payments industry and with technology changing as fast as it does, I can't imagine things slowing down. I love being able to help banks keep pace in such an ever evolving industry. Being able to work with banks from such diverse markets, makes it even more interesting. Helping them fill the gaps with a Credit Card, Pre-paid Card and Merchant Services program, can be very rewarding. Making new connections during the process is an added bonus. When I decided to go back to school for Project and Quality management with a minor in MIS, I didn't know that I would end up where I did. I knew I wanted to be involved with something that would keep me challenged and engaged. I feel so fortunate that I ended up where I did; there is never a dull moment. I've been in banking for more than 14 years and have seen so much change. With new regulations, fraud, identity theft, and data protection leading quite a bit of the change, banking has taken on so many new challenges. There's no such thing as "bankers hours" anymore. I look forward to all the new things I'm going to learn, all the new connections I'm going to make, and all the new roads this vibrant field brings with it.
