Background
About Jill Robinson
I have worked in European and international relations for over 25 years, building networks, developing funding bids and urban policy partnerships and managing transnational projects. My current interest is in exploring potentially innovative social practices by young people across Europe to overcome disadvantage and improve their life chances. I have always fought the corner for the creative and cultural industries and their contribution to the wealth creation and social capital of Europe and its cities. I firmly believe in the transformative power of the arts and creative practices, particularly for young people who may find conventional learning/training and employment pathways difficult. Preparing funding applications for EU, lottery and other grant schemes; research; international relations; project development and management; strategic planning; transnational partnerships
