Experience: Radiography/Fluoroscopy/Dexa: I have a complete understanding of the use of ionizing radiation to safely image patients while staying within acceptable ALARA standards, including a thorough knowledge and understanding of human anatomy, patient positioning, radiation techniques as well as radiation protection. Interventional angiography: Duties include sterile preparation of patients and work areas to assist doctors with PICC lines, central lines, ports, drains, thoracic duct embolizations, TIPS procedures, kyphoplastys, Radio-frequency ablations, angiography procedures and any other procedures that are used for diagnosing and treatment purposes. These procedures use ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and CT imaging. The skills involved in angiography require adaptability and understanding needed to help physicians implement new and complex interventional techniques that benefit our patients. O-Arm Superuser- I am qualified to use the O-arm for neurosurgery and other surgical procedures. This complex cross sectional radiologic imaging tool is similar to a CT scan/c-arm hybrid that enables detailed imaging of on-going surgical procedures in the operating theater. This allows us to to get three-dimensional images safely in surgery instead of moving the patient out of the operating room for a CT while under anesthesia. I am also responsible for taking call shifts for both radiology and interventional radiology. I belong to ARRT and ASRT. CPR certified. Contrast Injection/IV Injection Certified
