About Jillian Draaisma

As an IONM Technologist, I am currently providing high quality clinical services in the greater Phoenix area as well as traveling to provide case coverage across the country. I am currently involved in various teams for the company including education, quality assurance, and assessing potential CNIM hires. As a graduate from the School of Kinesiology who studied Movement Science, I gained a comprehensive education in the areas of motor control, biomechanics, and exercise physiology. I also had the unique opportunity to participate in the University of Michigan's Intraoperative Neuromonitoring program, where I obtained a focused education on neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neuroanesthesia. In addition to the didactic portion of the IONM program's curriculum, I gained hands-on IONM experience during clinical rotations at the university hospital that I now put into practice on a daily basis. Also at the University of Michigan I held many roles related to research and education. Outside of the operating room I am an avid hiker and have loved exploring all that Arizona has to offer!
