About Jillian Gary

I am a strong believer in the idea that professionalism is a practice and to be an effective consultant/mentor you must continue learning and growing your skillset. I display this value by continuing my education through certificate programs, webinars, and personal research. I am passionate about being a resource for college students as they navigate the transition from college to career. When speaking with students, I encourage reflection of their strengths and weakness and promote a willingness to be open to opportunities that will aid in practicing and improving upon skills. I provide individual career coaching in job exploration, application documents, and interview skills. I especially enjoy working with a student to find their unique voice while writing personal statements and cover letters. I help students figure out what they want to say and we work together to find a way to effectively communicate that message to a potential employer or graduate program. My strengths includes motivating students and peers to reach their personal and professional goals, collaborating with teams across campus, and crafting engaging content for traditional and digital marketing.
