About Jillian Griffith

I have worked for my current employer for over a decade. The company is a small local retail business that specializes in childrens toys. Starting out in the business I worked as a retail sales associate, then moved to the warehouse as a warehouse associate, after a few years I moved up to become the warehouse assistant manager and along side that worked as the office assistant and in 2020 I went back to the retail side of things becoming the store manager. On the retail side of my job I gained a lot of skills. My experience there includes sales, customer service, point of sale, gift wrapping, managing staff, payroll, scheduling just to name a few. While working behind the scenes in the warehouse I also obtained many skills. My work experience there includes, receiving new product into inventory and also physically receiving items to be sent to the stores, pulling backstock, working with a pallet jack, assisting the warehouse manager, pulling reports, doing bill prep, filing, and many other skills. I also helped out delivering product to stores and cleaning and organizing. For the past three years I have been in charge of keeping the stores' and the warehouses' supplies stocked, cleaning products, office materials and supplies we use for gift wrapping. In my senior year of High School I graduated with a 4.0. I have done volunteering with Excels day of service from 2016 to 2019 but due to Covid they stopped the program. I still try to volunteer with The Food Bank of the Rockies at least once a year. As much as I have loved working for my current employer I am excited to be moving on to start my new journey.
