Life will only change when you are more committed to your dreams than you are to your comfort zone.” - Billy Cox I am an instructional designer and eLearning developer at Triway High School, where I have been working for the last 11 years as a secondary English teacher. I have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Ashland University and a certificate in instructional design and technology from The Instructional Design Company. I am passionate about creating engaging, effective, and accessible learning experiences that support the needs and goals of diverse learners and organizations. Through my extensive teaching experience, I have developed strong skills in curriculum development, instructional design, project management, technical writing, LMS implementation, and feedback and evaluation. I have also leveraged various tools and platforms, such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Premiere Pro, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Canva to produce high-quality instructional materials, videos, and eLearning modules. Additionally, I have collaborated with numerous colleagues and subject matter experts to deliver optimal learning outcomes and solutions. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to apply my knowledge of instructional design and eLearning to new and exciting projects and challenges. In my free time, I love spending time with my two children, reading historical fiction regarding WWII and the Victorian era, and crafting artistic creations in various forms such as painting, resin, sublimation, macrame, and much more. Creativity feeds my soul; therefore, I jump at the opportunity to craft any chance I get.
